THE PRE-SHOW
THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY WATCH.

Custom pre-show content for arthouse cinemas.
Built by someone who ran one.

— THE WORK —

Twenty-nine pieces created for the Tryon Theatre in Tryon, North Carolina. Everything from concessions spots to history documentaries to “please turn off your phone” PSAs that actually made people laugh.

Each one was built for the specific spirit of that theatre and its community. That’s the only way this works.

THE THEATRE ALSO RUNS ON MORE THAN FILM.

Most arthouse theatres have more story than infrastructure. A loyal community but no place to gather online. A newsletter that goes out when someone remembers. A fundraising video they’ve been meaning to make for two years.

We can fix that too.

— THE REEL BEHIND THE REEL —

Nick Decker ran the Tryon Theatre in Tryon, North Carolina for three years — the kind of place where the marquee letters have their own personality and the popcorn is made with real butter and a little bit of love.

Before that, four years at Funny or Die as Executive Producer, making branded content with the biggest names in Hollywood and the most demanding clients in advertising. Before that, United Talent Agency, learning how the film business actually works.

Now based in New Richmond, Ohio. Still making things worth watching.

LET’S MAKE SOMETHING GOOD.

Every project starts with a call. Tell me about your theatre, your community, and your worst concessions joke. We’ll figure out the rest.
